Initial Traditional Chinese Medicine Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles at specific points on the body. This creates a balance on the system with a focus on the root cause to decrease symptoms on the chief body complaints. Other tools can be used to help create this change such as Tuina (Chinese Massage), Cupping, Electro-Acupuncture, Guasha (Scrapping technique), and Moxibustion (Herb to warm up the body). Acupressure can also be used in conjunction or as an alternative to effect to desired change in the body.
